10 Things I love about my Boracay trip

November 5-8, 2006

It was truly a dream come true for me! At last, nakarating rin ako ng Boracay! I spent 4 great days there with my friends. Let me just share with you some of the most unforgettable things I've experienced in my Bora trip. :)

1. The plane ride

Syempre, historical ito for me, (believe it or not) first time ko lang makasakay ng plane. hehehe...Good thing, maganda yung Cebu Pacific plane na sinakyan namin, kaya hindi naman ako naka-trauma. Thanks to Tabel and Apaul for giving me the window seat kaya naman sobrang na enjoy ko ang view. Almost the whole time nakatingin lang ako sa mga clouds, just marvelling the beauty of God's creation. Another good thing about my first plane ride, nanalo pa ko sa "Fun games on board"! cool! I got a yellow water bottle as a prize. I also bought the inflatable miniature plane as souvenir. So since first time nga ito, sabi ni Tabel kelangan daw documented, kaya eto po ang mga pics. :D

2. Accommodation

Personally, nagustuhan ko yung Bans Resort (located at Station 1) kase aside from affordable, maganda yung ambiance and okay rin yung mga airconditioned "kubo" nila. Inside, meron kaming tv, ref, cabinet, spacious yung beds and malinis rin yung CR. :D

we've just arrived!

Welcome to Bans Beach Resort! :)

a nice, relaxing place to be:)

3. The beach

Grabe! the best beach talaga I've been so far. Nakakatuwa rin kase even near the shore ang daming fish! cool talaga!

i took this shot when I woke up one early morning :)

by the sand castle (which took 7 hours to build!)

4. The best shake in the island

Jonah's Shake!!! Ang masasabi ko lang sobrang na-addict si Apaul sa shake nila to the point na gusto pa mag take out ng lima pauwing Manila. hehehe.. I've tried yung Mango Milk, Mango Lemon and Chocolate shakes. saarrraaappp! :D

brainfreeze! :P

pizza and shake combo :D

5. Island hopping

On our second day of stay sa Bora, we tried island hopping. We left after breakfast riding a boat that took us around the places in the island. Medyo umaambon nga lang that time kaya maalon. :)

6. Food!

Pero the best part nung island hopping namin is when we stopped over Puka Beach, where we had our lunch. :D

tuna, sugpo and calamares.. yummmy!

pasta delicioso @ Aria!

7. Parasailing

As recommended by Augs and Tabel, we (Apaul, Nikks and I) tried Parasailing during our third day in Bora. Medyo naka-discount pa kami since off peak. So instead of paying 2,500 bucks each, we availed it for only 1,600. cool! First time ko rin actually makasakay ng speed boat. hehe... Magkahalong nerbyos and excitement yung na feel ko especially while we are being fastened to the parachute. waaahhh... Pero ang sarap ng feeling habang tumataas kami, until we reached the highest possible height. Wow! breath-taking talaga ang view since I got to see the whole island of boracay and even the other islands nearby.

wohoooo!!! I believe I can fly!

waahh! ang taas na nito ah..

nice splash!!!

8. Tattoo

Still added to my list of "first-times" is my henna tattoo. :P

my anklet tattoo :D

9. fun with friends

Though minsan especially pag late na, tinutulugan ko sila hehehe.., pero as much as possible I want to spend every waking moment with them. naks! At syempre namiss rin namin si Apaulita kaya we do our best to make the most of her stay here. Syempre bonding rin kaming tatlo (Apaul, Tabel and me), while star-gazing habang nakahiga sa sand. Sa wakas nakapag wish rin ako when I saw a shooting star! Pero secret muna yung wish. hehehe...Here are some of our bonding pics :D

10. Sunset

Nasa Manila pa lang, I've already made a mental note to take photos of the sunset sa Bora. Hayy.. in love talaga ko sa sunset kaya naman I love my corner here in the office kase I can clearly see the Manila Bay sunset. But syempre iba ang Bora sunset, kaya naman I'm really looking forward to it. And to make my sunset experience even more beautiful, I've seen it from the plane while we're travelling back to Manila. awww.. really magnificent!

guess who jumped the highest? :P

awwww...sunset...hayy..

Hayyy...I wish I could stay longer sa Boracay. Anyway, I can still go back next year (yey! sana...) I also wish I could bring my family along, since Aklan is my mom's hometown. But I really, really, really thank the Lord for this wonderful blessing! Without Him, this wouldn't be possible and this wouldn't be as wonderful. Also, thank you sa mga kasama ko sa Bora (Tabel, Apaul, Augs, Nikks, Oyo, Kendz and Pau) The best kayo! Salamat sa lahat, lahat!!! Next time ulit, ok?!
