Rainy days are here again

Been consistent in coming to the office early since last week. My team mate, Ron would always say to me, "Doths, first honor ka na naman ah!" And I would tell him, "O nga e, ikaw second honor na naman. " We would both laugh and rejoice in the fact that we are saved from having to pay 50 bucks as late penalty. hehe...

This morning I should be in the office by 7 so that I can leave early for my class this afternoon. But the sound of the wind and rain outside seemed to lull me back to sleep. I had to drag myself out of bed when I heard my alarm clock. It snoozed for the 5th time already (If I counted it right), before I finally got up.

When I got here in the office, I called my school and found out that classes are suspended again. great! Apparently, suspension of classes was declared last night. I was so engrossed with doing my assignment that I wasn't able to watch even the late night news. Oh well, lesson learned. At least I can go home early tonight.

By the way, our team just transferred into a new and bigger room. I got a good place and still a great view of Manila bay. I could also see very nearly my previous office building from here. cool!

Hmm... I could see the dark clouds forming again. It seems typhoon Florita is on the verge of giving another shot of wind and rain. Hopefully, nothing disastrous would happen. Meantime, I'll indulge myself with a cup of coffee while feeling the cozy atmosphere.

A Jolli-birthday @ OCS

It was a wonderful 40th birthday surprise for our technical director last 4th of July. Tuesday afternoon after our company's all-hands meeting, a Jollibee party was held for him. I guess there was a combination of shock, surprise and gladness on his face when he saw Jollibee came out hiding from the conference room. hehehe... :P
