Heartfelt Messages

I just would like to share some of those precious messages I've received from my NYO (National Youth Organization) co-coregroup members, whom I've worked with throughout the whole year in preparing for our Church's Global Gathering this year.

We came from different origins and I've known most of them only this year, but it seemed we all came from a single root and we've already known each other for a long time. Indeed, God gathered us and united us together to do the work He has set before us.

As they all said...we've been through a lot, and we've definitely learned much from our experiences together. One thing's for sure, I would really, really, really miss them!

===================================================

"I just have to say this...I really am grateful for the G7. Due to it I've earned friends (yep, that's u!) whom i know are worth keeping. Why? ...We've been thru a lot. Bangayan, sigawan, sermons, tears, frustrations, disappointments, ngaragan, haggardness, sleeplessness atbp... and we managed to stay alive together. Walang nang iwan hanggang dulo. Aren't those the type of friends worth keeping? :) Have a blessed new year!" - Deb

"Love you ate Dorothy! Thanks for being a factor why i would always remember 2007!" - Deb (ulit :)

I.N. from all over the world...I'm blessed by her strength and wisdom inspite of the pressures and criticism we had)

===================================================

"Happy New Year! With much love...I thank you for being supportive...through ups and downs... God bless! :)" - Kaye

- from Kaye (I'm always blessed by her talent in playing the keyboards and for being so strong inspite of the tough times experienced by their family this year. This never hindered her from serving the Lord.)

===================================================

"I just want to say "thank you" from the bottom of my heart! Thanks for the trust, friendship, laughs, rebukes, memories! :) thanks for d opportunity! it was an honor serving the Lord with people like you! Praise God for ur life! 'til next time! " - Jayson

"Happy New Year! Thanks for being part of my 2007! ...di nga salamat talaga! :) God bless you more! Always here - Jayson" (ulit... :)

- from Jayson (one of those makulit na bro. I've always liked his hair. hehehe...I'm thankful for his talent in music that he willingly shares to others, and for all his brilliant ideas in production.

===================================================

"Happy New Year to you! thanks for the experiences and learnings you have taught me since we've started NYO i will always be reminded w/ those beautiful lessons... G7 has ended but many things will come our way... Let's hold hands together for God's glory! i will miss u definitely! *hugs*" - Dan

I'm blessed by his willingness to share his time and resources whenever they're needed. I also appreciate a lot all his encouragements in tough times)

===================================================

Wishing you all the best for the coming New Year and prayers too for more blessings from our Good Lord! - Kuya Ariel

- from Kuya A. (as we fondly call him...ang kuya ng lahat! Sya ang aming masipag na finance person. He makes sure everything is in order at may budget para sa amin. hehehe...I really thank the Lord for his wisdom and for standing up for our group)

===================================================

Ate Doths! hapi hapi new year! may God bless you and the Villano family!

Not to mention, super sipag talaga kahit Christmas eve nag eedit ng videos! :) I'm truly blessed by his commitment kahit na minsan hindi napapansin ang efforts nya, he goes on doing what he must do because he knows it's not the people he is serving, but the Lord!)

===================================================

Hapi New Year ate doths! Gagawa talaga ako ng paraan to have a gathering with your youth soon...*yakaptyt* You look really adorable when you're dancing with a headset on. :) Love you ate! Ingat po lagi! :) - Sophie

- from Sophie (and pinaka sweet sa production team. :) Inspite her young age, napaka mature mag isip ng batang ito. I'm blessed by her being smart and for her creativity. Sya ang aming masipag ng taga gawa ng props in almost all the production we did. I'll miss her hugs every time mag-uuwian na from a meeting or rehearsal. I'm glad sya yung kasama ko naging stage manager during the youth concert! and yes... we're both dancing with our headsets on! Cool! :D)

===================================================

These people (and the rest of my co-coregroup members in N.Y.O.) are the best gifts I've ever received this year...and I'm very, very grateful to the Lord for bringing them into my life. My life will never be the same again. God is indeed faithful and good!!!

Thank you Lord for everything that you have done this year 2007! And I'm so excited as I look forward to all the things that You will still do next year! I thank You for being with me always! I love You, My Heavenly Dad! :D

Lovely Gifts... =)

books that teach and inspire...

These books are given by friends that are so dear to me. I'm so grateful and glad to add these to my shelf :) But before I do that, I can't help but start reading them. In fact, I finished Ptr. Ed Lapiz's "Marks of a Winner" in one sitting. :) loved it!

Now, I'm halfway to Bo Sanchez's "Simplify and Create Abundance". My dad saw these books as well and he loved it too! :D Hope God would give me opportunities to share my learnings from these books to others.

my first ever Starbucks planner :)

Thanks to everyone who contributed (in one way or another) to fill my card with Starbucks stickers. :D I already claimed my planner last December 28 at Alabang Town Center Starbucks branch. yey!!!

This would be really helpful to me, as you know, I'm very much a "planner". Aside from that, I sometimes couldn't handle my overflow of thoughts that I need something to write it on. This planner is just perfect for that job! :D

"Just like Jesus" baller ID given by our Youth from Los Angeles, CA :)

This is a souvenir from our recently concluded Youth Concert. This little gift would always remind me of the success and miracle that God has given us during our Youth Concert.

But more than that, it would certainly remind me to think, act, speak and be just like Jesus always. :)

being a part of our church's Global Gathering '07 as a Production Staff

I consider this as the best gift I've received this year. A great opportunity to serve the Lord and my brothers and sisters. In my weaknesses and limitations, God proved Himself strong and limitless!

I would never exchange it for any material thing. Truly priceless are the learnings and experiences I've gained from this wonderful event. All praises and glory to my Dear God alone!!!

W.I.N. Global Gathering 2007

This kept us busy almost the entire year. :) Now, it's only 2 days to go before the much awaited event...

It is indeed my pleasure to be a part of this event. Being a first timer in a production staff of a big event such as this surely wasn't easy, as it required much of my time, effort, brains (hehe...) and even finances. But I did enjoy my job as a script writer and stage manager of the Opening Ceremony and the Youth Concert. All the learnings, in every life aspect, are sooo priceless! My co-core group members would surely agree with me! *winks* Every thing's truly worth it!!! :)

So if you've got nothing to do on December 29, 6pm...join us at the PICC Forum and get to see our youth concert entitled "WIN the Next!". We love you so much that's why, Admission is free!!! :)

Up until this time I should say we are having a busy holiday. Still have those technical and dress rehearsals lined up tomorrow. And of course some last minute preparations... whew! We're kinda feeling the nervousness now, but we know we have nothing to worry about as long as we trust in God's strength and guidance to accomplish the tasks He has called us to do. All I can say now is that, we're all excited to celebrate 10 years of God's goodness and faithfulness in this ministry!

E.K. at last! :D

Last Sunday after ng service, nakareceive ng call si Ate Olive from her dad. Wow! How about that?

anong mga creatures ba ito??? =P

naku... kawawang Santa :D

for the Nth time sa Anchors Away... grabe!

knock! knock!

enjoy rin ang mga dad and moms! :D

Big thanks talaga kay tito Pit for the free tickets and for the food also. :D Super enjoy talaga!

Oishiitei OCS Christmas Party '07

Hollywood/Local Movie Characters is our theme for this years' Christmas party. It wasn't that easy to come up with a costume for this. I personally chose a simple one since I'm not really after winning the prize hehe... But I'm fascinated to see my colleagues in their creative costumes. Really Cool! :D

IST in costume =)

Super Girl, Antonio Banderas? hehe, Spongebob, Super Marios :D

Shu Qi from "So Close" with the man in the iron mask, cleopatra, ms. congeniality, the phantom, santa babies and pocahontas :D

Sports Fest Awarding: w/ my badminton partner Joseph awarded as 1st runner up for the Mixed Doubles category, RED team as 1st runner up for the overall team standings and Champion for Women's Doubles category! yey! :D

Singing "Waitin" (by Lala) as suggested by the in-house band :)

Ala Spice Girls with Raqz, Karen & Maane singing "STOP!" :D

OCS guys and gals dancing the night away... :)

I didn't win in the raffle though (huhu...) But I'm getting kinda used to it. hahaha! :D Anyways, I'm just glad to see the crowd enjoying the party especially towards the end. I'm also happy that I was somehow able to entertain them through those songs (with the in house band) and dances (with our dance group "Friends of Ferdie" hehe). All the late nights of practices and preparation are truly worth it. I just love to see everyone happy! :D Merry Christmas to all of you, OCS people! :D

Special thanks to Ritche, Cricket, Vanie, Zarah, Basti and Milton for the photos :)

Overall, we are so glad with the outcome of our hard labor even if we didn't get the title. (huhu...) Though most of the people here in the office were surprised to find out that we didn't win. Oh well...anyway, it's not the winning or losing that matters. It's how you played the game! :D As for us, we're still a one big happy family... win or lose! *winks* *winks*
