Yep! that's the title of the concert held in our church at GMA, Cavite last night. There were quite a number of young people who performed, coming from different groups. Our group (V.O.X.) was one of the invited bands to perform in the said concert.
Honestly, we didn't have enough time to prepare for the said concert since we were also busy preparing for our church anniversary. And to add to the dilemma, James (our band leader) got chicken pox 4 days before the event! Which meant that it would be impossible for him to play and lead the band during the concert. huhuh...
But God proved to be faithful, as He will not let anything hinder us from doing the work He has set us to do. He provided another keyboardist for us and we're so blessed because it seemed so easy for him to learn the songs in our line-up. cool!
Once again, I felt really glad to see a lot of young people coming to declare that their generation is for Jesus as they worship the Lord through songs and dances. My sorethroat just got worse, though, and so I told them that I wouldn't be singing. Instead I'll be in-charge of the multi-media. But even if I was just doing the powerpoint for the songs, I can't help but sing and groove with my fellow music ministers as they lead the crowd in worship.
It was almost midnight when the concert ended. Dan and the other youth of WIN-GMA approached us as we bid them goodbye and expressed their sincerest thanks for supporting their concert. "Ang galing nyo grabe! You rock the crowd!", was their resounding comment as we go. We gave our sincerest thanks as well, but with all the accollades and praises we received that night, we know that none of us is worthy of that. We were there to do what God has called us to do. We did our best because He deserves only the best. In the end, all praises and glory still belongs to God....and we give it back just to HIM alone!
I apologize for the pics quality. Our digicam is kinda lowtech... hehehe... Anyway, here they are. (",)
